Web Development Goals
Usability and streamlined visual presentation are my two main goals when designing a site. I strive to make the user experience interesting and easy by creating simple navigation structures and site architectures. Many designers get so tied up in presenting their vision of a product that they can sometimes lose sight of their end user's goals. I have extensively studied the infomation architecture concepts of Edward Tufte and the usability idealogy of the Nielsen Norman Group over the last 10 years and have found that by diluting their rather prosaic theories it is possible to deliver interesting site design and architecture while being true to information theory. Applying these ideals along with a robust new media approach typically creates a site that is different than most.

Was designed by myself while employed at Bohannon Huston inc. Three years later the site still uses the ColdFusion design and architecture that I implemented.
